Company named one of five to compete at the May Expo
Jetoptera, an aviation startup headquartered in Seattle, WA, has been selected as one of five finalists at the AUVSI Xponential 2018 Startup Showdown. The company will present Jetoptera and compete for the grand prize in Denver, Co at the AUVSI Xponential 2018 on May 2.
According to the conference website, on this limited list are “early-stage, disruptive companies who are creating, innovating or enhancing unmanned systems technologies and applications.” At the event, which runs May 1-3 at Denver’s Colorado Convention Center, Jetoptera will also showcase its products and exciting progress at booth #3742.
"For a long time we have seen flying cars and powerful VTOL drones only in movies - science fiction movies.” said Jetoptera CEO Denis Dancanet. “Our revolutionary propulsion system paired with our novel airframe design make such aircraft a reality. We look forward to introducing our innovations to a wider audience."
Jetoptera earned its place as a finalist for its work developing UAVs and flying cars, pioneering a revolutionary propulsion system and novel airframe, which will provide users with nimble aircraft equipped with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), high speeds, and maneuverability. Once developed, Jetoptera’s aircraft stand to transform the way we transport people and products with a faster, more accessible aircraft – manned or unmanned.
